  1. Carbs are bad for you

There are good carbs and there are bad carbs. Carbs are a necessity for having energy throughout the day. Some good carbs are: Oats, Sweet Potatoes, Whole Grain Pasta.

 

  1. Frozen is not as “healthy” as fresh

Fresh food is more appealing for most people, but in reality, it is not necessarily healthier.

 

  1. If you are “skinny”, you are healthy

Just because someone physically looks slim does not mean they are healthy. Society is too focused on outer appearance that we have fallen into the stigma that you have to be slim to be healthy.

 

  1. Every diet works for everyone

Do NOT be discouraged if you have tried a diet that your fiend lost 10 pounds doing but you have only lost 2. Not everyone’s body reacts the same to diets. To successfully diet, see a nutritionist or dietician so that they can mold a diet to your specific body.
