Meal Planning is SO important for maintaining a good diet. Meal planning can sometimes be difficult, but I am about to give you some easy steps on how to build a meal plan.
1) Decide how many meals you are planning and prepping for.
- A tip is to start small like 2 meals for 3 days while you are first beginning and then developing into a full week meal planner.
2) Build a food list
- Along with building a food list, you need to research what is in season. Fruits and vegetables go in and out of season, so make sure that you are developing a meal plan with foods that are in season.
- Also, research recipes and meals that you would want to prep and can make a large portion of. Making large portions is a good idea for eating leftovers.
- On your food list, you should have
- Protein
- Starchy veggies, grains
- Veggies
- Fruit
- Fats, nuts, seeds

The last tip I have is: Have fun with it! Meal planning can be stressful, but can also be fun! Don’t feel like you have to have the same boring meals, there are plenty of meals online that you can copy!
